The KBW Academy Set has been completely reworked — and I’m immensely proud of what we’ve created.

Sourcing and customising a genuinely affordable, hard-working set of scissors for students, home groomers and those starting out in the trade is near impossible. We wanted something that wasn’t simply cheap and disposable, but a proper set of tools designed to work hard, be maintained and last.

An homage to the scissors of old and to our original Blade Works set, the new Academy Set is a refined, robust collection made from SUS410 stainless steel, heat-treated for strength and developed alongside grooming schools through our Academy Programme.

At approximately 75g, they have that reassuring, traditional feel in the hand — solid, dependable and built for everyday work. Most importantly, they can be properly maintained and sharpened multiple times throughout their working life.

• Gel finger inserts

Thanks for the delivery of my KBW set. It only took 3 days to arrive in Northern Spain. I ordered them because I wasn't sure that they would be decent quality for the price. They are great, and do exactly what they are supposed to. They are certainly as good as the Artero kit i usually use and I will definitely order more. Great quality at a very affordable price.
