THE REVERSO
Flip Curve Fluffer | 7” The Classic
A classic grooming design. Our take — not our claim to invention.
Originally widely known as “Magic Fluffing Scissors”, this style of scissors has a long history in the Asian grooming market, where variations of the curved, reversible design have existed for decades. More recently, “flip fluffing” has become the fashionable UK terminology for the same well-established principle — despite the occasional rather creative retelling of its origins.
The Reverso is our take on that classic design.
Its distinctive A-shaped shanks allow the scissor to be flipped directly in the hand, meaning you can work from either side of the blade. One way it curves inward; flip it over and it curves outward. No changing scissors and no fighting your wrist — simply flip and carry on.
The 43 bladed teeth sit beautifully between a blender and a fine chunker, shifting weight while leaving a soft, natural finish without harsh marks.
Brilliant for blending over scissor work, softening outlines, shaping curves and tackling areas where being able to reverse the direction of the curve makes all the difference.
Balanced at just 72g, it feels light, responsive and smooth through the coat.

⚠️CURVED TOOTH SCISSORS — PLEASE READ⚠️
Every scissor is individually tested before dispatch and leaves us in full working order.
Curved tooth scissors require the correct technique. Thumb position is paramount — pushing your thumb too far through the ring creates side pressure and can cause the scissor to lock. Thumb blockers are strongly recommended.
If this happens, do not force the scissor. Please see our self-help videos, take it to your trusted tool service provider, or return it to us and we’ll reset it free of charge — you simply cover the postage to us.
A locked scissor does not need replacing; it needs resetting. Replacing the scissor without correcting the technique will simply cause the same thing to happen again — potentially to the replacement.
