After months of testing, we finally have an A5 blade range we’re happy to put the KBW name on.

As a professional sharpener, I see hundreds of clipper blades come across my bench — and unfortunately, an increasing number of what we in the sharpening trade call “dud” or “fake” blades.

They may look like a standard professional blade and may even cut perfectly well when they’re new, but once they’re blunt, that’s it. They cannot be properly re-honed or resharpened on a professional clipper blade sharpening machine. They go in the bin.

That was something I absolutely didn’t want to sell.

So we’ve spent months testing and rejecting blades until we found a range that performs as it should — not just fresh out of the packet, but when it eventually comes back to the sharpening bench.

KBW A5 Steel Clipper Blades are proper, serviceable blades that can be professionally re-honed and resharpened, giving you a blade you can maintain and use again rather than another disposable.

Compatible with standard A5 detachable-blade clippers  including Heiniger Oster annd Andis and available in a range of cutting lengths for professional grooming.

Tested by a sharpener. Made to be sharpened.
